This Botanical Garden is unique as an ecological conservatory for a diverse collection of plant groups, preserving authentic Israeli species within their natural habitats from around the country.

My husband and I visited Israel a few years ago and we visited Ben Gurion’s home and saw where he was buried. It has remained with me always. A wonderful experience.

I visited Israel in 2003 and whilst walking at the beach front in Tel Aviv, I walked into your museum. Me & my group were from Sri Lanka. I cannot remember paying a entrance fee (as stipulated) I note above. We were shown around the museum by a gentleman who was , I believe, in charge. He was so kind to answer me all my questions. Since the age of 15 I had been following all the wars Israel was involved in and therefore had plenty of questions. Thank you for affording me the tour around the museum

Just a question…I was watching a documentary last night and it briefly covered this particular civilization (the Shivta). I noticed as it began to show these swirl-like carvings on the walls of this structure, that it looked eerily familiar. I have tried to get a better look, but there isn’t much to find on this subject to verify what I think I saw, so I thought it would be best to speak up to a professional. What I saw seemed to me to be a pattern in the swirls…specifically, a fingerprint. Like I said I have not seen the carvings myself and can’t be sure, but as I looked I became CONVINCED that was what I was seeing. Perhaps worth a look?

I was thrilled to see the beautiful Amaryllis from South Africa where I live. we hav wonderful botanical gardens in SA and these can be found in all the large cities as well as the outlying and country areas. I hav so enjoyed reading books like Exodus and learning of your early pioneering days and the struggles in the worst of terrain. the” israeli man” on the picture cleaning the water is the gardener and the man in charge of the maintenance of the yard for the last 17 years . The benches are his work, and made by his own hands like many other things in the yard, in fact ,everything beautiful in this garden is his work, he likes beauty,and made this garden a magic place in the center of Jerusalem.
His name is also Sergey (like the name of the garden)
the people of Jerusalem and the society for the protection of nature in israel are blessed to have an artist in charge of this yard
