Please note, here you have information only about the garden in Givat Ram.
However, there is another Jerusalem University Botanic Gardens – on Mount Scopus, dedicated to the flora of Israel.
This Botanical Garden is unique as an ecological conservatory for a diverse collection of plant groups, preserving authentic Israeli species within their natural habitats from around the country.

It also has a website in Hebrew:
www.botanic-garden.huji.ac.il
as well as in English:
http://www.botanic-arden.huji.ac.il/eng_index.htm

Please add this info to your website.
Thanks in advance.

I hiked the Yehudiya riverbed and loved it. I highly recommend it if you are relatively hardy (not scared of a decent size hike, water or heat). Feel free to read my blog post about it: http://www.extrapoints.us/yehudiya/.

I visited Israel in 2003 and whilst walking at the beach front in Tel Aviv, I walked into your museum. Me & my group were from Sri Lanka. I cannot remember paying a entrance fee (as stipulated) I note above. We were shown around the museum by a gentleman who was , I believe, in charge. He was so kind to answer me all my questions. Since the age of 15 I had been following all the wars Israel was involved in and therefore had plenty of questions. Thank you for affording me the tour around the museum

Thank you for the sensible critique. Me & my neighbor were just preparing to do a little research on this. We got a grab a book from our local library but I think I learned more clear from this post. I am very glad to see such fantastic info being shared freely out there.

Just a question...I was watching a documentary last night and it briefly covered this particular civilization (the Shivta). I noticed as it began to show these swirl-like carvings on the walls of this structure, that it looked eerily familiar. I have tried to get a better look, but there isn't much to find on this subject to verify what I think I saw, so I thought it would be best to speak up to a professional. What I saw seemed to me to be a pattern in the swirls...specifically, a fingerprint. Like I said I have not seen the carvings myself and can't be sure, but as I looked I became CONVINCED that was what I was seeing. Perhaps worth a look?

Does anyone have any feedback about Gan Guru. I want to take a group of 35 fifteen year old boys. Will they tear the place apart or will they enjoy it? I'm really asking - Which ages is the park geared for?

I was thrilled to see the beautiful Amaryllis from South Africa where I live. we hav wonderful botanical gardens in SA and these can be found in all the large cities as well as the outlying and country areas. I hav so enjoyed reading books like Exodus and learning of your early pioneering days and the struggles in the worst of terrain. Today you can be proud to look back on all your achievements in the botanical and agrcultural fields...congratulations! and Shalom from South Africa

Dear Hannah
You are never forgotten, you are remembered with such pride and are often in my mind, i first went to Kibbutz Sdot Yam in 1970 and have been to your stone in the Military Cemetery many times. How i wish that i could put my arms around you and tell you that you are loved so much, but i am sure that G-D does that often. I know that you wanted a partner here on earth, i pray that you have found him in Yoni Netanyahu, you are both two beautiful young people. Shalom. Sleep sweetly and dream of wonderful poems.

I've posted a number of articles about Herodium on my website/blog, just type Herodium in the Search field in the right hand column. The most recent is the idea that what Netzer calls the Monumental building at the end of the course might have been a nymphaeum. You can check it out at http://israeltours.wordpress.com/2010/11/11/nymphaeum-herodium/
